Glava (Head)
A large stone head that people in Cazin called «Rudo», because it reminded them of a fellow townsman.
Enstad was the first foreign participant in Kolonija skulptora Ostrožac, a yearly stone-carving symposium at Ostrožac castle. After the war in the 1990s he raised money in Norway to repair works in the colony that had been damaged by shelling.
«Glava» is explicitly attributed to Ola Enstad in Lejla Hairlahović’s report «Kameni spavači nad Unom», published by Al Jazeera Balkans on 18 March 2017 and updated on 30 June 2020. The report dates the bihacite sculpture to 1973, and the photograph is captioned «Ola Enstad: 'Glava'». «Rudo» is described as a local nickname, not as the work’s original title. The source places the sculpture in the small sculpture park by Sedra at the time of the report; its present location and exact coordinates have not been checked here.
